GTIS is a joint project of the Government of Guyana and the U.S. Government. The project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and provides support to enterprises, private sector organizations, and government institutions to help Guyana become more competitive and exploit emerging export market opportunities arising from international trade agreements.
